Career Advancement e-module
The Career Advancement (CFG3001) e-course equips students in the final lap of university life with advanced career preparation and workplace skills, empowering them to confidently navigate the job search process and excel in their first graduate job.

Besides important technical skills, life skills are also critical for success in the workplace. Through this course, students can look forward to:
  • building a greater sense of self-awareness and personal values, thereby aiding career/job fit assessment
  • learning tips for greater effectiveness as a communicator, collaborator, and networker
  • applying critical thinking to assess suitable career planning strategies, actions and behaviours
This course is structured around six lessons delivered in a 100% e-learning format. Students have control over how they engage with the interactive digital content, such as quizzes and videos featuring employers and alumni, and complete the required assignments.

Career Advancement aims to help students make a confident, self-assured first step on their career journey. Whether students have their first career all mapped out or are still looking for directions, the available resources and exercises can help them gain clarity and confidence to put their best foot forward, opening doors to countless opportunities.
