Evidence-Based Medicine: From Concept to Habit Critical Appraisal (RCT & SR)

Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) is a much-talked-about concept in healthcare. By definition, EBM is the practice of applying the best available scientific evidence with clinical expertise and patient’s preferences in clinical decision-making.

Yet we find that implementing this concept in daily practice becomes a challenge for many clinicians and institutions. In this workshop we will introduce students to the concept of EBM, highlight its importance, its impact on patient outcomes and early steps that students can take to develop a habit of practicing EBM.
