The Search for Standards

Standards are all around us, from the things that we see to the things that we interact with on a daily basis. The format and representation of date, for example, is standardised so that we know 2021-08-09 refers to August 9, 2021. Standards set a unified basis of doing things and are the bedrock to quality assurance. In this introductory session, you will gain an overview of the standards collection in NUS Libraries and learn how to find common standards like British standards and Singapore standards.
