Your Smart Guide to Obtaining Geospatial Data

Geospatial data is essential in any spatial analysis. In this workshop, explore various methods and tools for obtaining geospatial data. Learn GIS techniques like geocoding and spatial joins, to transform data into usable formats for analysis. Additionally, discover how to generate your own geospatial data, from georeferencing and digitising historical maps to using tools for generating data from scratch.

Learn

  • About GIS data types and formats
  • The methods to convert tabular data into geospatial data, exploring spatial join and geocoding tools
  • The GIS process of georeferencing and digitising a scanned map
