Managing Director, The Coffee Roaster Pte Ltd
Swee Heng is the founder of The Coffee Roaster, a prominent coffee brand in Singapore. He started the business at the young age of 20, driven by a strong passion for coffee and entrepreneurship. Under his leadership, The Coffee Roaster has grown into a high-volume cafe known for its consistent quality, as well as a leading coffee academy focused on bringing people closer through coffee. Swee Heng is a strong advocate of youth entrepreneurship. He is dedicated to empowering students.

Dr Liu Yunjiao

Research Fellow, NUS Department of Food Science and Technology
During her PhD journey, Yunjiao worked on the valorisation of food by-products such as spent coffee grounds and biotransformation of food by-products for flavour and nutrition, aiming to contribute to the government's goal of “30 by 30”. The intellectual property (IP) on the valorisation of spent coffee grounds via fermentation technology has been patented and licensed to a company. Currently, Yunjiao continues to research the biotransformation of food processing by-products and plant proteins as alternative proteins in FST, NUS.

Senior Librarian (Research Librarian – STEM)
Suei Nee has more than 10 years experience working as a Librarian. Her work interests include Systematic Review searching and teaching users how to search for full-text articles. On a daily basis, she enjoys talking to users, helping with their queries, and making friends with them. She has worked in both the Central Library and Medical Library, and relishes the different learning experience both libraries offer. She is also part of the Scholarly Communications and Systematic Review Team.
