Introduction to Zotero - Reference Management Made Easy

Finding and managing references for an academic paper can be daunting to the uninitiated. And if that wasn't tough enough, AI-generated citations may contain fabricated sources or inaccurate information 😱 But fret not - NUS Libraries is here to help!

In this workshop, we'll introduce you to Zotero, a reliable and easy-to-use reference management tool that simplifies the capture of web-based bibliographic information. We'll also introduce you to a tool that can help you mitigate citation integrity risks and make sure your references are legit.

At the end of this workshop, you'll be able to streamline the process of organising and citing authentic references and preparing accurate bibliographies for academic papers and assignments - like a boss 😎

Learn

  • How to add and organise references in Zotero
  • How to insert citations from Zotero into your assignments or academic papers in MS Word
  • How to format and change to the appropriate citation style with ease
  • How to collaborate with others using Zotero
  • How Zotero supports accurate referencing and why it matters
