Dr Rafi Rashid is a Senior Lecturer at the NUS Graduate School and an interdisciplinary educator of research, ethics, and communication. He coordinates NG5002 Research Ethics for Graduate Researchers, a compulsory course for NUS PhD students, and develops educational initiatives that help researchers navigate research integrity, ethical decision-making, and effective communication. He is also Principal Investigator of an MOE-funded project examining how generative AI can support the development of authorial voice and ethical stance in PhD education. His current work includes facilitating the REx workshop on Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR) and promoting the responsible use of AI in research.

I am Prathibaa Ramesh, a fresh graduate from NUS. During my final year, I had the privilege of being a part of the Learning Sciences Laboratory and working under Dr Steven Pan for my honours thesis. My thesis was an extension of my previous UROP under the same lab, where I analysed the effectiveness of self-generated and AI-generated mnemonics in learning a foreign language.

Matthew is a Year 4 History major interested in the history of technology. His experience in startups and product management has sparked his interest in applying AI and digital tools to history.

Jovan studied phytoplankton community dynamics and Harmful Algal Bloom risk across Singapore's coastal straits, applying multivariate ecological statistics to reveal how monsoon seasonality and geography shape coastal water quality. He brings an interdisciplinary perspective to environmental science, guided by a belief in the power of consistent, small actions.
