Year 3, Environmental Studies, Faculty of Science
Tara is a Year 3 Environmental Studies (BES) major, with a minor in Aquatic Ecology. She began her experience in research through an Undergraduate Research Opportunity in Enviromental Studies (UROPES) project. This interdisciplinary research project focused on geomorphology, reef ecology, and climate science to examine coral reef island formation in the context of global environmental change. With an interest in coastal- and marine-related issues, Tara hopes to continue building her understanding of these complex environmental challenges during her time in BES.

Nur Hanisah Binte Hassim

Senior Executive, Office of the Provost
Hanisah holds a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Film and went on to pursue a Master's in Communications. Hanisah currently works in the Office of the Provost, where she manages two portfolios: the Visitor Centre and the Research Experience Programme. She believes that we are all naturally curious, and through research, students can explore topics that matter to them. When one engages with something they truly care about, research becomes a deeply fulfilling experience.
