When did otters become Singapore's most beloved, and mischievous, urban residents? 🦦🦦🦦
Once teetering on the edge of extinction, these charismatic creatures have made a remarkable comeback, reclaiming our waterways and capturing our hearts with equal parts charm and mischief.
In this special World Otter Day session, "Otterman" N. Sivasothi will shed light on otter habitats, behaviours, and patterns of dispersal, as well as, the real challenges of sharing a city with wildlife. Leave with a deeper appreciation of these otterly adorable creatures and what it truly takes for humans and otters to co-exist.
And the fun doesn't stop there! Strike a pose at our themed photobooth for a memorable keepsake, or put your Biodiversity knowledge to the test with our interactive games!
This event is organised by our librarian, Gladys Toh.
This event is part of the Biodiversity in Focus series, aimed at sharing research findings on biodiversity in Southeast Asia and insights on ecosystem dynamics.
