Join us in celebrating World Otter Day with a fascinating workshop that dives into the lives of Singapore’s most popular urban wildlife—the otters. Once considered an endangered species, otters have made a remarkable comeback, capturing public imagination with both their playful nature and hazardous antics.
In this session, Sivasothi a.k.a “Otterman” will shed light on otter habitat, behaviour, patterns of dispersal, challenges they face, and more. Through these stories, we hope to offer participants a deeper appreciation of these otterly adorable creatures and how human-otter can co-exist in our urban city.
This event is part of the Biodiversity in Focus series, aimed at sharing research findings on biodiversity in Southeast Asia and insights on ecosystem dynamics.
This event is organised by our librarians Herman Felani and Gladys Toh .
