Green Libraries – Walking the Talk in Sustainability

This September, celebrate Sustainability Month with NUS Libraries and discover our Green Libraries! Join us on a specially guided tour of the Central Library to see how NUS Libraries is making sustainability a daily reality, from eco-friendly construction materials to reducing our carbon footprint in daily operations.

This tour takes you beyond the classroom to the actual spaces where sustainable change takes place. You’ll gain insight into how our Green Libraries form one of our four sustainability pillars, aligning with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

If you're passionate about building a more sustainable world, or if you just want to know how a small action can make a big impact on sustainability, this is the tour for you!
