If you’re seeking a deeper understanding into a regional culture, the performing arts are an eye-opening window to the deeper symbolism and expressions of Southeast Asia's myriad cultures. However, it can be tricky to find resources when there may be concepts or art forms with multiple names, translated differently in English, or having to search across different languages.
In this workshop, NUS Libraries will show you how to effectively discover and explore our many resources on Southeast Asian performing arts, spanning disciplines such as music, theatre, and dance. Participants will also be introduced to relevant search tools and strategies to address the challenges unique to this field.
Bring along a laptop or tablet to follow along with the demonstrations.
