NUSearch+: New Doors to Discovery

Join us for the official launch of NUSearch+, a unified platform by NUS Libraries that enhances access to diverse resources across GLAM+ (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums and Performing Arts).

The integration of collection provides a more cohesive user experience, simplifying research and discovery while allowing seamless exploration of resources across different collections and domains.

This programme is organised by our librarian Gladys Toh.

Tan Poh Lay

Principal Librarian (Discovery Services Manager)
Poh Lay is a Discovery Librarian with NUS Libraries. With a background in Information Technology, she is constantly busy ensuring the smooth operation of library systems, addressing user inquiries, and resolving issues.
Herman Felani

Herman Felani Bin Md Yunos

Associate University Librarian and Head of Archives & Digital Preservation
Herman is an NUS alumni from the Arts & Social Sciences class of 2007. He has worked at NUS Libraries for 15 years, where he previously contributed to the reference and information services department before heading the Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library and then serving as Head of Library Operations. His interests include vexillology, heraldry, and playing the piano.

Nur Diyana

Nur Diyana Binte Abdul Kader

Librarian (Research Librarian – HASS)
Diyana provides research and information services, particularly on Southeast Asia, apart from developing the Library’s collection and teaching information literacy. Her thoughts and musings can be found in Perempuan: Muslim Women Speak Out (2016), Budi Kritik (2018) and Growing Up Perempuan (2018).

Wendy Thun

Thun Wendy

Librarian (Institutional Repository Librarian)
Wendy is a librarian at National University of Singapore and is currently leading the institutional repository team. She drives the initiatives to ease deposits of scholarly works through NUS Elements and ScholarBank@NUS. She has an MSc in Information and Library Studies and B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering.

Ruskhana

Rukhsana Bi D/O Abdul Wahid

Research Student Assistant
Rukhsana is currently studying Political Science and Malay Studies in NUS. She is also a student research assistant at NUS Libraries where she gets to spend all day looking through archives from the Singapore/Malaysia Collection. She spends her time listening to music, reading books and trying new cafes! She also spends a considerable amount of time working on projects and events for the NUS Muslim Society, the NUS Malay Studies Society and the NUS Political Association.
