Do you have a brilliant innovation that you hope to actualise? Before you dive in, consider spending some time to evaluate your idea. In this workshop, we focus on two key steps – doing market research and protecting your intellectual property – to get you on the right track.

Kho Su Yian

Principal Librarian (Research Librarian – HASS)
With over 20 years of experience as a librarian, Su Yian advises students and conducts workshops on Business Research. Her areas of knowledge include reference management software, library user experience, social media and communications. A NUS alumni, Su Yian graduated from FASS with a B.A (Hons) in English Literature, and a Master’s in Library & Information Management.
Mee Lan

Loh Mee Lan

Senior Librarian (Research Librarian – STEM)
Mee Lan joined NUS Libraries more than 25 years ago and has never looked back. She has worked at several NUS Libraries including Central Library, C J Koh Law Library and Science Library. Her interest in patent searching and teaching users how to search for patents started when she was working at Central Library. She enjoys the challenges and variety her work offers and looks forward to helping users find the information they need. She is also part of the Enterprise Services Team and Systematic Review Team.

All NUS staff and students are welcome.
