It Takes a Village: To Grow Honesty Coffee

All stories begin with 1 line. Good and affordable coffee in school was how it started for Honesty Coffee, a self-serve coffee concept that employs an honesty payment system.

Helmed by five NUS Business School students, turning their business idea into reality was an adventure fraught with challenges and triumphs unique to each twist and turn.

Aspiring to start your own business? Or simply happy to chill with a cup of coffee? Join our students for a coffee chat to discover “what it means to fail quickly and cheaply”, “everyday innovation”, “it takes a village” and most importantly, “how to convince half a school that your idea is worth believing in”.

You’ll also get to hear from the rest of the “villagers” about their roles in bringing Honesty Coffee from ideation to fruition.

Experience the magic of books and brews as you immerse yourself in the world of coffee through our books and articles.

Coffee is on us ☕.
