This September, celebrate Sustainability Month with NUS Libraries and discover more about the biodiversity we have on campus!
Do you know that we have a garden on-campus that was set up in the early 1980s? Join us for our guided tour and have the rare opportunity to step into the grounds of the former Department of Botany Garden, now under the care of the Department of Biological Sciences. Discover legacy plants present since the garden started, some of which are also ancient in terms of the evolution of plants such as the cycads. Learn about the garden's history and get to know the plants that provide you with common food items such as coffee and chocolate!
Plus, find out more about NUS Libraries' rich collection of resources on botany and sustainability, perfect for anyone curious to learn more.
This event is organised by our librarian, Gladys Toh.
