Art Come to Life at Helix House - Wall Mural Painting 4
Every night on the Week of 3rd February 2025, multiple groups of Helix House Residents participated in the Wall Mural Painting activity. This activity was facilitated by our House artist, Wendy Tang Xioa Di, and Dr Mark Gan, the Resident Fellow of Block 17.
This is the 4th series of this activity being held, and each time, it never fails to fascinate passersby who see art coming to life! This time, the concept of the Wall Mural painting encompasses the idea of ‘Chasing your dreams’. The colour theme for this art piece is pastel which includes pink, purple and blue.
Wendy, who is a resident of Block 17, shared with us the concept of the design which entails a cartoon character sitting on the airplane. She explained that the motivation behind this art is to bring on a message that one should keep on flying high to achieve his/her dreams.
Residents seemed proud and excited to be able to contribute to this piece of art through painting different parts of the wall art.
