Every Wall A Canvas – Our homescapes: Wall Mural Painting 5.0
On 20th February 2025, the familiar spiral staircase closely known by many residents of Helix, received its new look with a brand new mural unveiled! As the 5th iteration of our ongoing Mural Painting project, this latest piece of artwork continues to liven up our neighbourhood with its story of unity and growth.
The artist behind this design, Freesia, also our fellow Helixian, from Block 18, brought us through the concept behind this artwork. At the centre of the mural, the DNA string that strings the art together embodies the motto of Helix “DNA that binds.” Complementing the DNA design are the skies and greens that capture Helix as an environment that cultivates and nurtures growth among individuals.
Every wall in Helix represents an opportunity for creative expression. Here, Helixians not only leave their vibrant strokes on the circular wall but also share moments of laughter and joy. These murals highlight also the role that art plays in nurturing our communal spirit. As we celebrate this new masterpiece, anticipation grows for the next artwork by our fellow Helixians that will continue to fill both our walls and hearts.
