Living in multicultural Singapore, the conscious drive to better understand our diverse heritage has contributed to social harmony. However, in our race towards modernisation and urbanisation, Singapore has had to balance between preserving the
past while securing its future on the global stage. Inevitably, this has created gaps in preserving and understanding our rich history and heritage.
Youths in Singapore! We invite you to be at the heart of documenting and
preserving our heritage!
TF-NUS Heritage Champions aim to:
• increase your knowledge of Singapore’s built, social and cultural heritage;
• enhance bonds and trust between communities through collaborations; and
• create new innovative and interactive solutions for community engagement.
The programme comprises 2 year-long runs, with about 60 youth per run. The first run is from July 2024 - June 2025.
Participants also get the opportunity to be part of the TF Youth Alumni Network.
• Youth aged 18-35 as of 31st of August 2024
• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
• Currently studying or enrolled to study at an Institute of Technical Education (ITE), the polytechnics
or other Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) from 2024.
Registrations are closed. The next run of the programme will be around mid-2025. So look out for the open call for the next batch of participants! Meanwhile, continue checking out this site for updates on the programme.

Applying what they learn through the training workshops, participants are required to put together their project proposals. Participants will be required to present their projects on 9th November. The presentation will be held at
NUS Central Library. The best 5 proposals will be selected to proceed to the incubation phase. Prizes of up to $1,200 will be awarded to winning groups.
