Withdrawal from the University

Application and Deadline

Students must submit their applications for withdrawal from the University through the online Withdrawal System within the NUS Education Records System (EduRec).

Applications must be submitted by the last day of the Reading Week of each Regular Semester. Students will incur fees for that Regular Semester if their applications for withdrawal are submitted after Instructional Week 2. Students who need to apply for withdrawal after the Reading Week due to unforeseen circumstances should approach their Home College/Faculty/School Dean's Office for advice.

Withdrawal Status and Course Records

The records of the students’ withdrawal date and courses enrolled for that Regular Semester, if any, will be updated based on when the students apply for withdrawal, as follows.

From Examination Period to end of Vacation With effect from first day of the following Regular Semester (application will be processed after results are released for that Regular Semester) Courses recorded with final grades
