The degree scroll reflects the following:
- Student’s Official Name1
- Degree Title
- Primary Major2 only (if applicable)
- Degree Classification (Honours) (if applicable)
- Conferment Date3
Note1: The official name must be same as what is reflected on your NRIC or Passport at the time of conferment (graduation). Name changes must be carried out before you are officially conferred/awarded your degree as there are no amendments to the University’s records thereafter. Please refer to the Responsibility for Notices/Circulars and Updates of Personal Particulars website (see ‘Official Name’) and/or Graduation website (see ‘Important Information for GRADUATING Students’) for more details
Note2: Students who complete a Double Major, Specialization and/or Minor successfully will receive one degree scroll, for the Primary Major only. The Second Major, Specialization and/or Minor will, however, be recorded in the transcript. Please refer to the Double Major Programmes website for more details on Double Major.
Note3: Graduating students may complete their graduation requirements upon passing their final examinations but are only considered as “graduated” after they have been officially conferred their degrees. Please refer to the Graduation website (see ‘Types of Student Status’ and ‘Degree Conferment’) for more details.
