Given the COVID-19 situation in Singapore and abroad, applicants are encouraged to check out the latest arrival requirements here.
The Office of the University Registrar manages the application of incoming overseas Non-Graduating (NG) students who are interested in reading one or two courses at NUS in each or both parts of the Special Term. The Office also manages the application of Returning National Servicemen (RNSmen) who have places reserved for them in NUS to register for studies earlier, if they wish, during the Special Terms.
Notice: The information below on the Special Term only pertain to RNSMen and NG students. If you are an Undergraduate or Graduate Student, please refer to the Special Term website instead.
NUS Online Application Portal
All interested students are required to apply online via the NUS Online Application Portal. Please refer to the user guide before submitting an application.
A student is allowed to register for a maximum of two courses in each part of the Special Term. A student can choose to register for courses for only one part instead of both parts of the Special Term (i.e. Part 1 or Part 2).
Returning National Servicemen who will be registering as undergraduate students in the coming July/August, please read this set of application instructions before applying.
Non-Graduating Exchange students must obtain formal approval from their home university (student exchange coordinator) to join NUS prior to submitting an online application. Exchange applications will only be accepted on the basis of official nominations from partner university.
