Transcripts

The academic transcript is a student’s complete and permanent academic record and reflects all the work completed at NUS.

There are two types of transcripts: As the transcript contains personal and confidential information, it is issued only to the person named in it or sent to another institution upon the request of the same person. Hardcopy transcript(s) sent from Office of the University Registrar will be placed in a sealed envelope and mailed directly to the institution(s) and/or mailing address provided.

Electronic transcript, together with the electronic degree scroll, will be sent to the student’s lifelong email (for undergraduate, post-graduate and graduate diploma students) or personal email (for NGE/CPE students) after successful completion of their programme.


 Students  How to get a copy of the Official Transcripts?
Current Students
(Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, Master, Doctoral)

A complimentary hard copy transcript will be issued after successful completion of the degree programme. It will be provided together with the degree scroll.

Two electronic versions, OpenCerts and Verifiable PDF, will be sent to the student’s NUS Lifelong email after the date of conferment.

Current students who require a hard copy or electronic transcript prior to conferment will need to submit an application at myEduRec> Academics > Transcripts > Apply Official Transcripts. Prevailing charges apply. 

Note: Some programmes do not issue transcript.  Please check with your faculty/school if you need further clarification.
NUS Graduates
(conferred from 2006 or records are in the student records system (EduRec))

OpenCerts, has been sent to the student’s NUS Lifelong email.

If you require electronic official transcript (Verifiable PDF) or additional hardcopy of the transcript, please apply via Online Transcript Application (OTA). Prevailing charges apply.
NUS Graduates (conferred prior to 2006 or records are not in current student records system) Please apply for hardcopy or electronic transcript (in normal PDF) via Online Transcript Application (OTA). Prevailing charges apply.
Exchange/Non-Exchange Programme Students (NGE) who completed programme Refer to this link for more information.
Continuing Education Programmes Students (CPE) who completed programme (one-time complimentary issuance upon completion of programme wef July 2024.)
 Electronic official transcripts in Verifiable PDF will be sent to the student’s personal email address one month after the completion of specialist/ graduate/ executive certificate programme.
