This program is excellent. I have been a big fan of the RU series and benefited a lot from these workshops. To be honest, RU is a big reason for me to come back to NUS to pursue a PhD after getting my master’s here, because it provided many inspirations on research. Many thanks to NUS libraries!

I wish this was provided on my 1st day when I enrolled in MOT. This would definitely help me to appreciate more of what I have learned.

The presenter was great! Very clear and provided clear examples and demonstration at a measured pace.

Went away with a good working knowledge of the commercial databases available. Helps me in my current research area of looking at Board of Directors of companies.

Other than seeing the effort of scanning the maps in the past came "alive" with the wonderful stories, the talk provided new inspiration for further works to be pursued and new material to be covered in some of the undergraduate modules here in NUS.

The speaker obviously is an insider and he provides informative and culturally sensitive knowledge and suggestions about the process of submitting a book proposal. Focusing on social sciences and humanities is important because writing books plays a big role in academic life for scholars in these fields.

Very useful information which can be used not only in research, but also for daily life. The content provided is very updated and relevant.

Learnt how to use a new tool to handle large and messy datasets efficiently. This is a great addition to my data analysis workflow.
