Helix Baking Workshop
On Thursday, 18 September 2025, Helix House residents traded their usual routines for something a little sweeter — the Helix Baking Workshop. The evening was all about rolling, steaming, and grilling, as Helixians tried their hands at two Malay favourites: Kuih Kosui and Pulut Panggang.
For many, it was the first time making these treats, but that didn’t stop the fun. With sticky fingers, banana leaves, and plenty of laughter, the kitchen quickly turned into a lively space of learning and discovery. Along the way, we also got to hear the stories behind these kuih and how they’ve brought communities together for generations.
Of course, no Helix event is complete without photos. Residents posed proudly with their kuih, snapped candid moments mid-wrap, and captured the joy of seeing their creations come to life. Some kuih came out softer, others a little more burnt, but the smiles were the same all around.
The Helix Baking Workshop was more than just about food; it was about coming together, learning something new, and strengthening the bonds that make our community feel like home.
