Did you know our collections extend beyond books? We have a wide array of collections, from art and images to ephemera, videos, films, classical scores, old books, private papers and more. Whatever your interdisciplinary research needs, we’re bound to have something that will help make your research pop ⭐🌟✨!

Whether you're exploring visual culture, researching historical media, or simply curious about unique materials, this session will show you how to navigate and discover our rich and diverse resources that span multiple formats and genres.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to go beyond books and articles to discover 🔍🕵️‍♂️ unique resources to supplement your research and add some punch to your paper!

Raven's first stint in libraries as her junior college CCA led to her leap of faith in joining librarianship after her MSc in Information Studies. She wears two hats as ELL resource librarian and the Acquisitions librarian. Outside of work, Raven is a beauty junkie who also loves food, humour, music, and munchkin cats.

Nur Diyana Binte Abdul Kader

Librarian (Research Librarian – HASS)
Diyana leads the Collection Development and Education Matrix at NUS Libraries. The matrix drives cross-cutting best practices in collection development and brings collections to life through talks, seminars, programmes, and collaborations with stakeholders within and beyond the library. She provides research and information services with a focus on Southeast Asia, develops collections, and teaches information literacy. Her writing appears in Budi Kritik (2018) and the forthcoming Syed Hussein Alatas and the School of Autonomous Knowledge (2025).
