All students applying to Medicine must submit a portfolio together with the formal application made on the NUS Office of Admissions website, prior to being shortlisted. Items to be submitted as part of the portfolio are: the personal statement (500 words), CCA list, and official testimonial from their junior college, polytechnic or high school, and referee reports.
