Abhirami Sellapan Bursary

The Abhirami Sellapan Bursary was established in 2016 by former President of Singapore, Dr Sellapan Ramanathan in memory of his late mother, Madam Abhirami Sellapan. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference given to students in the Department of Social Work at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.


Accountancy Class of 1975 Bursary

The Accountancy Class of 1975 Bursary was established in 2015 to commemorate the Class' 40th graduation anniversary and the nation's 50th year of independence. Mrs Constance Koh, an alumna from the Accountancy Class of 1975, initiated the fundraising initiative among her classmates to help financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/16.


AlphaLab Capital Bursary

The AlphaLab Capital Bursary was established in 2022 by AlphaLab Capital Pte. Ltd. The bursary is awarded to financially disadvantaged Singaporean and International undergraduates studying science, computing, or engineering.


Ameerah and Ameer Bursary

The Ameerah and Ameer Bursary was established in 2015 by Madam Alia Gan Peng Peng. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.

Anastasia Liew Bursary

The Anastasia Liew Bursary was established in 2013 by Mrs Anastasia Tjendri-Liew with a pledged donation of S$500,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.


Business Admin Class of 1989 Bursary

The Business Admin Class of 1989 Bursary was established in 2016 to award financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17. The fundraising for this bursary was championed by four alumni from the Class of 1989 of the NUS Business School.


Char Yong (Dabu) Association, Singapore Bursary

The Char Yong (Dabu) Association, Singapore Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$250,000 from the Char Yong (Dabu) Foundation Limited. The Foundation is registered as a charity with the primary objective of promoting educational and other charitable activities. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Chee Phui Hung Bursary

The Chee Phui Hung Bursary was established in 2011 from donations raised by the Alumni Association (Southern Branch) of over $400,000. This bursary was named after Dr. Chee Phui Hung, who served as Chairman of the Alumni Association’s Southern Branch and subsequently the association’s President. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students reading Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing as well as graduate students in Duke-NUS.

Chee Teng Hee Bursary

The Chee Teng Hee Bursary was established in 2016 by the family of the late Mr Chee Teng Hee. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.


Chen Kong Yuen Memorial Bursary

The Chen Kong Yuen Memorial Bursary was established by the NUS Faculty of Engineering in the Academic Year 1981/1982. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Engineering undergraduate students who are in their second year of study.


Chen Su Lan Student Bursary

The Chen Su Lan Student Bursary was established in 2009 with a donation of S$1,000,000 from the Chen Su Lan Trust. The bursary is awarded to help financially needy undergraduate students who have dedication, commitment, community service ethos, and who wish to work in the helping and caring professions.
 

Chia Siew Wong Bursary

The Chia Siew Wong Bursary was established by Mr Chia Kum Ho in the Academic Year 2007/2008 and seven bursaries are awarded each year. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from the NUS Business School, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Design and Engineering


Chng Pheng Lui Memorial Bursary

The Chng Pheng Lui Memorial Bursary was established by NUS Business School Global Alumni Network in memory of Mr Chng Pheng Lui in the Academic Year 2003/2004. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students majoring in Bachelor of Business Administration and one bursary is awarded to an undergraduate student in each year of study.


Class of 1972 Bursary

The Class of 1972 Bursary Fund was established by the graduating class of 1972 in Academic Year 2005/2006 and the fund now exceeds $1 million. This fund awards multiple bursaries to financially needy undergraduate students.

David Tang Poh Kheng Bursary

The David Tang Poh Kheng Bursary was established in 2013 by Mr David Tang Poh Kheng with a donation of S$300,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/16.


Derek Hewett Bursary

The Derek Hewett Bursary was established in 2010 with annual donations from the Derek Hewett Foundation 2009. The foundation has committed its support in line with Derek Hewett’s belief in higher education and desire to use the remainder of his estate to provide education for financially needy undergraduate students in NUS.


Dr Lee Ah Loa Memorial Bursary

Dr Lee Ah Loa Memorial Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1990/1991 to support financially needy undergraduate students in the Faculty of Dentistry.


ECM Libra Foundation Bursary

The ECM Libra Foundation Bursary was established by the ECM Libra Foundation in 2015 with a pledged donation of S$1,000,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Malaysian students from Academic Year 2016/17.


Eddie Chng Weng Wah Bursary

The Eddie Chng Weng Wah Bursary was established with a pledged donation by Mr Eddie Chng Weng Wah in 2013. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.


Engineering Student Development Fund Bursary

The Engineering Student Development Fund Bursary was established from donations to the Engineering Student Development Fund and bursaries were first awarded in 2009. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from the Faculty of Design and Engineering

ERA Student Foundation Bursary

The ERA Student Foundation Bursary was established in 2018 by the ERA Realty Network Pte Ltd with a donation of S$150,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students starting from Academic Year 2019/20.


Esco Micro Bursary

The Esco Micro Bursary was established in 2010 with a donation of S$150,000 from Mr Lim Lay Yew, a Pharmacy alumnus of the class of 1973 and CEO of Esco Micro Pte Ltd. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students majoring in Pharmacy, Life Science, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering.


Excel Precast Bursary

The Excel Precast Bursary was established with a pledged donation from Excel Precast Pte Ltd. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduates from Civil Engineering and Business Administration from Academic Year 2015/2016 onwards.


Gan Eng Teck and Maria Tan Ah Ho Bursary

The Gan Eng Teck and Maria Tan Ah Ho Bursary was established in 2008 by an alumnus with a donation of S$250,000 to help financially needy undergraduate students. 


Great Eastern – Howe Yoon Chong Bursary

The Great Eastern – Howe Yoon Chong Bursary was established by Great Eastern to commemorate Great Eastern’s 100th anniversary in Singapore and Malaysia and in memory of their late chairman, Howe Yoon Chong in the Academic Year 2008/2009 with a donation of S$500,000 to the University. Ten bursaries are to be awarded to financially needy undergraduate students in Academic Years 2008/2009 and 2009/10, and 20 bursaries are to be awarded from Academic Year 2010/2011. 

Hanxing Bursary

The Hanxing Bursary was set up in honour of the donor’s son. The bursary is to be awarded to financially needy undergraduates starting from Academic Year 2015/2016.


Hochstadt NUS Bursary

The Hochstadt NUS Bursary was established in 2018 by Mr Herman Ronald Hochstadt with a donation of S$750,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2019/20.


Hong Leong Foundation Bursary

The Hong Leong Foundation Bursary was established in 2015. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17. 


Hunter Caldwell Bursary

The Hunter Caldwell Bursary was established in 2010 with a donation of over S$361,000 from the Trustee of the Estate of William Mitchell Hunter. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Hyflux Bursary

The Hyflux Bursary was established in 2013 by Hydrochem (S) Pte Ltd. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students pursuing either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Environmental Biology) at the Faculty of Science; or a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) at the Faculty of Design and Engineering


ICH Group Bursary

The ICH Group Bursary was established by the ICH Group with a donation of S$150,000. The donation was made possible with facilitation by Mr Danny Toe, Chairman of ICH Group, and an NUS alumnus. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2013/14.


Indonesians for Indonesians Bursary

The Indonesians for Indonesians Bursary was established in 2015 by prospective donors from Indonesia. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Indonesian undergraduate students.


JI Yeo Bursary

The JI Yeo Bursary was established in 2016 in memory of the donor’s late son. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.


K.P. Nandey Bursary

The K.P. Nandey Bursary was established in 2016 by the family of the late Mr K.P. Nandey. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference given to those studying in the Faculty of Law.


Kenneth and Jacelyn Lai Bursary

The Kenneth and Jacelyn Lai Bursary was established in 2018 by Mr Kenneth Mark Lai Chin Kui. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2020/2021.


Keppel Bursary for Engineering

The Keppel Bursary for Engineering was established in 2014 by the Keppel Care Foundation Cooperation Limited. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from the Faculty of Design and Engineering


Khoo Teck Quee Bursary

The Khoo Teck Quee Bursary was established in 2013 in memory of the donor's father. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2013/14.


Khoo Teck Quee and Tan Phek Wan Bursary

The Khoo Teck Quee and Tan Phek Wan Bursary was established by the family of the late Mr and Mrs Khoo Teck Quee. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/16.


Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Bursary

The Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$3,000,000 from the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


LBC Family Bursary

The LBC Family Bursary was established in 2018 with a donation of S$318,600 from Mr Loh Boon Chye. Presently the CEO of Singapore Exchange Limited, Mr Loh is an NUS alumnus. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Lee Choon Seng Memorial Bursary

The Lee Choon Seng Memorial Bursary was established by the family of the late Mr Lee Choon Seng in the Academic Year 1966/1967. This bursary is awarded to financially needy medical undergraduate students.

Lee Hsyau Beng Family Bursary

The Lee Hsyau Beng Family Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$156,000 from Mr Lee Lap Wah, George in honour of his father, Mr Lee Hsyau Beng. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Lee Wan Loke – Sarah Goh Sat Liap Bursary

The Lee Wan Loke – Sarah Goh Sat Liap Bursary was established by Dr Lee Soo Ann from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in the Academic Year 2007/2008 with a donation of S$150,000. This bursary covers selected financially needy recipients for the whole programme’s duration of their undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.


Lim Boon Keng Bursary/Scholarship

The Lim Boon Keng Bursary was established from donated estate proceeds of the late Dr Lim Boon Keng in 1973 and his daughter, Mrs Ena Teh's donations since 1975. The bursary was first awarded in the academic year 1982/83 to second year undergraduate students in Medicine and is tenable for the entire programme duration.


Lim Chin Hin Bursary

The Lim Chin Hin Bursary was established in 2013 by the family of the late Mr Lim Chin Hin, an NUS Economics alumnus. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from the Academic Year 2014/15.


Lim Joo Hock Bursary

The Lim Joo Hock Bursary was established in 2011 by Mr Lim Joo Hock, an NUS alumnus, with a donation of S$250,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Lions Community Service Foundation Bursary

Lions Community Service Foundation Bursary was established by the Lions Community Service Foundation. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Liu Yuchen Bursary

The Liu Yuchen Bursary was established in 2019 by Liu Chengliang. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2019/2020, with preference given to students from the NUS Business School, School of Computing, Faculty of Design and Engineering


Low Seng Poh Bursary

The Low Seng Poh Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$150,000 from Mr Low Sze Gin, Mr Low Sze Wee, and Ms Low Su-lin in memory of Mr Low Seng Poh. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students with preference given to Civil Engineering students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Low Yuet Sum and Ou Sang Yoon Bursary

The Low Yuet Sum and Ou Sang Yoon Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$155,000 from Ms Ng Kia Jin in honour of Madams Low Yuet Sum and Ou Sang Yoon. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Lubrizol Bursary

The Lubrizol Bursary was established by Lubrizol in the Academic Year 1995/1996. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students in the Faculty of Design and Engineering


M C K Svasti Bursary

The M C K Svasti Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1980/1981. This bursary is awarded to honours year undergraduate students in Chemistry.


Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Bursary

The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Bursary was established by the Gandhi Centenary Celebrations Committee of Singapore in the Academic Year 1981/1982. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Malaysian Community Bursary

The Malaysian Community Bursary was established in 2017 to support financially needy Malaysian undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18. Fundraising for this bursary was championed by Mr Yeo Keng Joon, an NUS alumnus.

Malaysian Community Enhanced Bursary

The Malaysian Community Enhanced Bursary was established in 2022. The bursary supports financially needy Malaysian undergraduate students from Academic Year 2023/2024.

Mapletree Bursary

The Mapletree Bursary was established by Mapletree Pte Ltd with a donation of S$530,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2013/14.

  • Mapletree – Wong Meng Meng Bursary

The naming of the bursary after Mr Wong Meng Meng enables future generations of students to learn of Mr Wong’s stewardship and contributions to the real estate sector. Mr Wong served on the Board of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd for more than a decade before officially retiring on 31 January 2022. Prior to his retirement from the Board, Mr Wong was a member of the Audit and Risk and Transaction Review Committees.

Mr Wong also served as the Non-Executive Chairman and Director of Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd (MITM), which manages the Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT), since MIT’s IPO in October 2010. He successfully steered the REIT’s growth in the US data centre market and rejuvenated its portfolio.

  • Mapletree – Paul Ma Kah Woh Bursary 

The naming of the bursary after Mr Paul Ma Kah Woh builds a legacy for future generations of students to learn of Mr Ma’s stewardship and contributions to the real estate sector. Mr Ma served on the Board of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd for over a decade and officially retired on 31 January 2022. He was a member of the Audit and Risk, Executive Resource and Compensation, and Investment Committees prior to his retirement from the Board.

Mr Ma helped Mapletree to grow from a Singapore-centric company to a global company. Most notably, he brought the first Mapletree REIT, Mapletree Logistics Trust, to IPO in 2005, as the Non-Executive Chairman of Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Ltd. In 2016, he provided strategic guidance to Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust as the Non-Executive Chairman and Director of Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust Management Ltd.


Mr and Mrs Teo Kim Leng Bursary

The Mr and Mrs Teo Kim Leng Bursary was established by Mr Teo Kim Leng in 2021. An alumnus of the NUS Business School, an entrepreneur, and a business leader, Mr Teo’s strong belief in education and wish to empower the youth through education led him to set up the bursary. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Singaporean undergraduates enrolled in any programme at the University from Academic Year 2022/23.


Material Research Society of Singapore Bursary (MRS Bursary)

The MRS Bursary was established by the Material Research Society of Singapore in the Academic Year 2006/2007. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Science undergraduate students.


Ng Chee Chuan Bursary

The Ng Chee Chuan Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$150,000 from Mr Ng Kah Ho (Huang Jiahao) in honour of his father, Mr Ng Chee Chuan. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Ng Lin Moon and Chan Mee Kuen Bursary

The Ng Lin Moon and Chan Mee Kuen Bursary was established in 2016 by Madam Ng Choy Wah in memory of her parents. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.


NUS Alumni Bursary

The NUS Alumni Bursary was established by the NUS Office of Alumni Relations in the Academic Year 2005/2006. This bursary is awarded to at least one financially needy student from each faculty.


NUS Alumni Bursary Fund

The NUS Alumni Bursary Fund was established in 2013 by NUS alumni with involvement from the Alumni Advisory Board, the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS), and other alumni groups. The joint fundraising effort raised over S$250,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.

NUS Alumni – Wong Ah Long Bursary

The NUS Alumni – Wong Ah Long Bursary was established by the NUS Alumni Student Advancement Committee in honour of the late Mr Wong Ah Long. The late Mr Wong Ah Long sat on numerous boards, including NUS Business School, the Institute of South East Asian Studies, the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) Advisory Panel, and the NUS Council/Board of Trustees. For his passion and dedication, he is the recipient of the inaugural NUS Distinguished Alumni Service Award, the Distinguished Science Alumni Award, and the NUS Business School’s Eminent Alumni Award.


NUS Campus Couples Bursary

The NUS Campus Couples Bursary was established in 2013 to support financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15. Fundraising is championed by an NUS alumnus, Mr Yeo Keng Joon, who aims to raise at least S$250,000.

NUS Co-op Bursary

The NUS Co-op Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$160,000 from the NUS Co-op. Besides being a bookstore, the NUS Co-op contributes to campus life through its support for various student activities. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


NUS Trustees Bursary

The NUS Trustees Bursary was established in 2015 by current and former members of the NUS Board of Trustees (“BOT”), as well as BOT Co-opted members, in celebration of NUS’ 110th anniversary and SG50. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/16.


NUSS Bursary Fund

The NUSS Bursary Fund was established in 2022 by the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) to support financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2023/24. Fundraising is championed by NUS alumnus, Mr Yeo Keng Joon.

NUSS Golf Section Bursary

The NUSS Golf Section Bursary was established in 2015 to support financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17. The National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) Golf Section has been raising funds for the NUS Alumni Bursary Fund Campaign by holding the annual NUSS Golf to encourage collective giving from alumni, friends of the University, and corporate sponsors.

NUSSU Bursary

The NUSSU Bursary was established in 2014 by the NUS Students’ Union (NUSSU) with annual pledged donations of S$25,000 from 2014 to 2016. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.


NUSSU and NUSSU Alumni Bursary

The NUSSU and NUSSU Alumni Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$150,000 raised by Mr Soh Yi Da, a member of the Alumni Student Advancement Committee (ASAC) and former President of the NUS Student Union (NUSSU), as part of the NUSSU Homecoming and Fundraising Dinner held in 2016. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Ong Cho Tek Memorial Bursary

The Ong Cho Tek Memorial Bursary was established by the Estate of Ong Cho Tek. This bursary is awarded to at least one financially needy second or final-year student who reads Geography as one of two principal subjects in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.


Ong Gwake Meng Bursary

The Ong Gwake Meng Bursary was established in 2010 in memory of the donor's late mother. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Ong Pang Boon Bursary

The Ong Pang Boon Bursary was established in 2011, in honour of Mr Ong Pang Boon, with a donation of S$2 million. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Malaysian and Singapore Citizen undergraduate students from Academic Year 2012/13.


Ong Sin Seng and Lim Song Kie Bursary

The Ong Sin Seng and Lim Song Kie Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$1,300,000 from Madam Lim Song Kie. The bursary was named in memory of Madam Lim and her late husband Mr Ong Sin Seng. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Pang Wee Kar and Tan Kai Mui Bursary

The Pang Wee Kar and Tan Kai Mui Bursary was established in memory of the donor's parents. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.


Pesi B Davar Memorial Bursary

The Pesi B Davar Memorial Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1981/1982 with an annual donation of five bursary awards. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students in the NUS Business School, Faculty of Design and Engineering


Peter S T Lim Bursary

The Peter S T Lim Bursary was established by Windmill International Pte Ltd in the Academic Year 1993/1994. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.


Phan Kah Foh Bursary

The Phan Kah Foh Bursary was established by the Phan family in the Academic Year 2008/2009 with a donation of S$250,000. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference given to women, taking Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Design and Engineering


Pharmacy Bursary Fund

The Pharmacy Bursary Fund was established in 2011 by the Department of Pharmacy with donations received from Mr Lam Pin Woon and the Pharmacy Commencement Class Giving. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students reading Pharmacy from Academic Year 2011/12.


R Jumabhoy Bursary

The R Jumabhoy Bursary (formerly known as R Jumabhoy Scholarship) was established in the Academic Year 1965/1966. This bursary is awarded to financially needy medical undergraduate students.


Rebecca Sam Kwai Him Memorial Bursary

The Rebecca Sam Kwai Him Memorial Bursary was established in 2011 by Mr Lam Kun Kin, an NUS alumnus, with a donation of S$150,000 in memory of his aunt. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Reginald Quahe Memorial Bursary

The Reginald Quahe Memorial Bursary was established by the University of Singapore Academic Staff Union in the Academic Year 1977/1978. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


S K Lee Bursary

The S K Lee Bursary was established by Mr S K Lee with a donation of S$100,000. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Saw Swee Hock Bursary

The Saw Swee Hock Bursary was established by Professor Saw Swee Hock in the Academic Year 2005/2006 with an initial donation of S$240,000. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students in their final year of bachelor's degree programme.


SDE Bursary

The SDE Bursary was established in 2007 from donations collected during the School of Design and Environment’s reunion dinner and exhibition in 2005. The donation collected is used to award bursaries to financially needy undergraduate students from the School of Design and Environment


Sin Jeok Tong Bursary

The Sin Jeok Tong Bursary was established in 2016 with a donation of S$150,000 from NUS alumnus Mr Sin Boon Ann in memory of his father, Mr Sin Jeok Tong. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference given to Law students, from Academic Year 2017/18.


Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan Bursary

The Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan Bursary was established with a pledged donation from the Singapore Leong Khay Huay Kuan from 2015 to 2017. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduates from Academic Year 2015/2016.


Singapore Malayalee Bursary

The Singapore Malayalee Bursary was established in 2016 by the Singapore Malayalee Association. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.


Singapore Soka Education Bursary

The Singapore Soka Education Bursary was established in 2020 by the Singapore Soka Association. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2021/2022.


Singapore Taxi Academy Bursary

The Singapore Taxi Academy Bursary was established in 2018 with a donation of S$100,000 from The Singapore Taxi Academy (STA). The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singaporean undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Singapore Turf Club Bursary/Scholarship

The Singapore Turf Club Bursary/Scholarship was established by the Singapore Turf Club in 1982 with a donation of S$100,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students. 


Sonny Gan Chew Keng Bursary

The Sonny Gan Chew Keng Bursary was established in 2014 by Ms Christine Gan in memory of her late father, Mr Sonny Gan Chew Keng. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2014/15.


Sylvia Goh Medical Bursary

Previously known as the Goh Sin Tub Bursary, the Sylvia Goh Medical Bursary was established in 2007 to support financially needy undergraduate students from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine each year.


TAK Bursary

The TAK Bursary was established in 2018 by TAK Products & Services Pte. Ltd. This bursary supports financially disadvantaged students, with a preference for students majoring in Civil Engineering.


Tan Bian Chye & Lim Siew Kheng Bursary

The Tan Bian Chye & Lim Siew Kheng Bursary was established in 2018 with a donation of S$45,000 from Mr Tan Wang Cheow, in honour of his parents, Mr Tan Bian Chye and Madam Lim Siew Kheng. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Tan Joo Kee Bursary

The Tan Joo Kee Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1991/1992. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Tan Lark Sye Bursary/Scholarship

The Tan Lark Sye Bursary/Scholarship was established by the Aik Hoe Group of Companies with a donation of over S$1 million. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Tan Mok Koon Bursary

The Tan Mok Koon Bursary was established in 2016 by NUS alumnus Mr Tan Mok Koon who set up the Tan Mok Koon Charity Fund Limited. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students reading either Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Design and Engineering

Tan Ngem Bursary

The Tan Ngem Bursary was established by the family of Mdm Tan Ngem with a donation of S$500,000 in 2023. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2024/25.

 

Tan Siak Kew Bursary/Scholarship

The Tan Siak Kew Bursary/Scholarship was established by T.S.K. Investment in 1979 with an initial donation of S$275,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Tan Wang Cheow & Tan Guek Ming Bursary

The Tan Wang Cheow & Tan Guek Ming Bursary was established in 2018 with a donation of S$45,000 from Mr Tan Wang Cheow. Both Mr Tan Wang Cheow and his wife, Ms Tan Guek Ming are NUS alumni. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2018/19.


Tang Wang Lin Bursary

The Tang Wan Lin Bursary was established by the family of the late Ms Tang Wan Lin with a donation of S$150,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2013/14.


Tay Heng Seng Bursary

The Tay Heng Seng Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$50,000 from Mr Tay Kim Huat in honour of his late father, Mr Tay Heng Seng. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singaporean undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Terence Khoo Medical Bursary

The Terence Khoo Medical Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1972/1973 with a donation of about S$20,000. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students pursuing Medicine.


The Cocoa Trees Bursary

The Cocoa Trees Bursary was established in 2013 by Mr Paul Loo and Ms Esther Teresa Tang with a donation of S$200,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/16.


Thomson Shin Min Foundation Bursary

The Thomson Shin Min Foundation Bursary was established in 2013 by the Thomson Shin Min Foundation. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


TLH Bursary

The TLH Bursary was established in 2016 by Madam Te Lay Hoon, a founding member of the Super Group Ltd. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2016/17.


Tokyo Electron Bursary

The Tokyo Electron Bursary was established by Tokyo Electron Singapore Pte Ltd in 2022. The bursary is awarded to financially disadvantaged full-time undergraduates studying in the Faculty of Design and Engineering


VR Nathan Bursary

The VR Nathan Bursary was established in 2015 by Mrs VR Nathan in memory of her husband. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference for students with disabilities.


Wan Boo Sow and Annie Tan Bursary

The Wan Boo Sow and Annie Tan Bursary was established in 2010 by the Trustees of the Wan Boo Sow Charity Fund Limited. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduates from the Faculty of Science, School of Computing, Department of Social Work, and College of Design and Engineering


Wee Kheng Chiang Memorial Bursary/Scholarship

The Wee Kheng Chiang Memorial Bursary/Scholarship was established by family and friends of the late Datuk Wee Kheng Chiang in 1978 with a donation of S$500,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.


Wilmar Bursary

The Wilmar Bursary was established in 2018 with a donation of S$352,000 from Wilmar International Limited. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students, with preference for students pursuing food and nutrition-related studies, from Academic Year 2018/19.


Windmill International Bursary

The Windmill International Bursary was established by Windmill International Pte Ltd in the Academic Year 1993/1994. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students studying Southeast Asian Studies.


Woh Hup Bursary

The Woh Hup Bursary was established by Woh Hup (Pte) Ltd with a donation of S$50,000 in 1977. This bursary is awarded to financially needy Building and/or Civil Engineering undergraduate students in any year of study. 


Worldwide Hotels – Choo Chong Ngen Bursary

The Worldwide Hotels – Choo Chong Ngen Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$2 million from Mr Choo Chong Ngen, Singapore’s budget hotel magnate. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Yangzheng Foundation Bursary

The Yangzheng Foundation Bursary was established in 2017 with a donation of S$200,000 from the Yangzheng Foundation, a privately funded charity that aims to promote, foster, develop, and improve education in Singapore and aid social development through financial support for financially needy students and other charitable bodies. The bursary is awarded to financially needy Singapore Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident undergraduate students from Academic Year 2017/18.


Yap Kim Kiaw Bursary

The Yap Kim Kiaw Bursary was established in 2011 by an NUS alumnus. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2012/13.


Yeshua Bursary

The Yeshua Bursary was established to award financially needy undergraduate students with disabilities from Academic Year 2013/14.


Yik Luen & Wei Han Bursary

The Yik Luen & Wei Han Bursary was established by the Community Foundation of Singapore on behalf of their donor, Mr Hoong Yik Luen, with a donation of S$500,000. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduates from the Faculty of Design and Engineering


Yong Fong Lim & Wong Yok Hin Bursary

The Yong Fong Lim & Wong Yok Hin Bursary was set up in memory of the donor’s late parents. The bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students from Academic Year 2015/2016. Priority is given to students from Myanmar.


Yong Shou Lin Memorial Bursary

The Yong Shou Lin Memorial Bursary was established in the Academic Year 1994/1995, in memory of Mr and Mrs Yong Shou Lin, with a donation of S$50,000. This bursary is awarded to financially needy undergraduate students.
