A good pass in at least three ‘Advanced’ Level subjects is required for candidates to submit an application. Many applicants submit good passes for four or more ‘Advanced’ Level subjects for our consideration.

Expected to have a good pass in at least three ‘Advanced’ Level subjects by end July 2026 is required for candidates to submit an application.

Notes

A-Level subject grades* (excluding AS-Level) will be accepted if the following criteria are met:

  • Obtained in up to two examination sessions, and
  • From up to two different examination boards, and
  • All sessions must be within a 12-month period.

* If you are taking Edexcel International A-Level, A-Level subject grades refer to the final A-Level grade received upon cash-in.

Applicants presenting the Cambridge AICE Diploma may also apply.

If you have taken C1 Advanced/Cambridge English: Advanced, EL1119, IELTS, MUET and/or TOEFL, you may submit the official score report(s). It is not an admission requirement.

For applicants who would be sitting for the A-Level examination session in March 2026 or Advanced Placement (AP) test in 2026, please submit your score reports through the Applicant Portal within 3 calendar days upon the release of results to the NUS Office of Admissions.
