Applicants, regardless of nationality, seeking admission to NUS should present a Diploma from a Polytechnic in Singapore.
From the Academic Year (AY) 2020 admission exercise onwards, applicants will be considered for admissions to the University based on their polytechnic academic performance. In addition, the University may evaluate applicants via interviews/aptitude tests, as well as any other academic and non-academic achievements presented for admissions.
Applicants should ensure that the Diplomas are acceptable for their applied course(s). Applicants should also submit the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level results, if available, to fulfil the subject requirements for selected courses. For more information, please refer to the footnotes shown under the respective polytechnics’ list of acceptable diplomas.

If you are a student in your final semester of study at the Polytechnic, you can apply with your results obtained from your first 5 semesters of study. If you meet the admissions criteria, you will receive a provisional offer. You will then be requested to submit your final semester results.
The admissions exercise for applicants presenting Diploma qualifications from a Polytechnic in Singapore opens from 1 to 21 February every year.
