With the increasing complexity of policy problems, many governments are adopting a more collaborative approach towards policymaking. Dr Carol Soon, Ms Nandhini Bala Krishnan and Ms Beverly Tan from the Institute of Policy Studies at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS opine that the Singapore government remain nimble and tailor public engagement to suit the issue, so that the contributions of citizens and relevant stakeholders can be better integrated.
